Around Ozu Island
My first big accomplishment. This was my first trip around Ozu island, which was about 14 miles in total and done in 4 hours and 30 minutes. It was hard but I’m not dead. Here is my visual training log https://cloud.gaiagps.com/public/API4s82mpOogtcWaAOFz5XuO/Aerial/
Time to Explore
For my third training, I was a little more courageous and ventured outside of my small island base of Skumojima. Since I’m still getting my paddle stroke down, it was slow-going. I did about 5 miles in little under 2 hours. Here is my visual training log https://cloud.gaiagps.com/public/O6438eebohTEL7J0bbvXcP8B/Aerial/
Stormy Seas
There are two ways to interpret this picture: the first could be my attempt to do some modern art Jackson Pollock style with my kayak and Gaia GPS tracking software or the more realistic but less fun interpretation could be that I’m inexperienced and decided to kayak in very strong winds but noticing the high chance of flipping my kayak, I kayak around in a circle over 30 times to justify the 20 minute commute to the training location. Well…at least I got some training done. Check out the visual training log https://cloud.gaiagps.com/public/GOxEremkHKge7k6MtcP1Rf4A/Aerial/
