Styrofoam “Snow” in the Ocean

While we were paddling across the Tsushima strait to Korea we came across some very unique ocean pollution which took the form of very small white Styrofoam balls that were probably left over from a larger buoy’s that had been destroyed. At times this pollution looked like a large field of snow, stretching several hundred yards, that had collected on the surface of the ocean.
