The Whale Watcher Kayak by Water Field was the most important contribution to our kayak expedition to South Korea. This kayak has a robust history spanning at least 20 years when it went from Korea to Japan in a expedition using a support boat, which was previously the only way to travel between Japan and Korea. If you were following the expedition you knew that we had to do some fiberglass repairs on the rudder mount as well as the bottom. During the expedition we had to further seal the kayak with caulk in many places to prevent water from coming into the bulkheads. Overall, this was the reason we were able to go and we are very thankful to Water Field for letting us be a part of the history of this kayak. Check out our video:
